What is running lately
in the talkshows- to speak precisely what i watched tonight, there was a
point-debate going on about madrasas monitoring… the step of regulating its
activities and nisab to abolish the very roots of extremism that is budding in
Pakistan (because of lack of check and balance) and leading to terrorist
activities. Can you guess, what the very idea infers? It is but a very hint
towards the necessity of basic education. Now, let me put how the idea is
derived. The consideration of regulation being emphasized: the activities
monitored is just as is how the educational institutes are! The nisab
being under check- just a reflection of how educational institutes are run. It
is thus stating a transparent truth in very plain terms --that extremism that
has been budding and flourishing in Pakistan, all due to negligence on part of
Govt. Had they been providing free primary education, had they been
establishing more and more schools and colleges --but oh i am of no temper of
rationalizing in 'what if's!' Let it happen but now! Implement your law about
primary education!
